FAQ
Q: How much will this service cost?
The service cost is ultimately determined by gallons of chemical used. Only a technician can determine this cost by surveying your property during your free estimate, however, there is a $100 minimum charge for any service so please keep that in mind.
Q: Will this service harm my children or pets?
No. Our only advice is that you wait for the chemical to dry. After that it is completely safe for you, your children, and your pets.
Q: How often should I spray my property for weeds?
This depends greatly on the state of the property itself. Some people can get 1 spray and make it through most of the year. Others will need multiple sprays. We always recommend the latter strategy as it provides the best control possible. Our signature Weed Prevention Plan provides 3 sprays throughout the year for the price of 2 and is a great option for complete control. Ask our office or your technician for more details about this plan.’
Q: How soon can I expect the weeds to die?
Our chemical is not focused on quick visual results, only on an effective and long-lasting kill. As such please wait at least 14 days for weeds to die completely and keep in mind that some weeds will die faster than others. If it has been over 14 days feel free to call us back for a free respray.
Q: I feel like it’s too windy to spray today, can’t you come in the morning when things are calm?
So far we only service areas in Southern Utah, and it is windy to some degree at almost all times. If we had to wait for a completely calm day we would almost never be able to provide this service. Also, the morning time is a small slice of the day, we can’t put every customer in a morning slot.
That said, we are experts at what we do and we will let you know if the wind has become too strong to safely spray. We want to keep your desirable plants alive as much as you do!
I saw a technician directly spray my bush, what’s going on? Is he trying to kill it!?
If a technician sprays a desirable plant it is always because they are spraying the pre-emergent, which only kills seeds in the ground and has zero effect on already-grown plants. In fact spraying this is standard practice to prevent weeds from growing under and through the bush.
Q: What the heck is this yellow stuff! It’s on my fence/patio/rocks/etc.
That is the colorant in the prodiamine. Not every job will have this yellow coloring depending on the needs of the specific job, but if you do see something that is “stained” yellow please realize this coloring goes away in around 2 weeks. If the color lingers longer than that give us a call and we will come wash it away for you.
