– FAQ –
How soon can I touch a treated area or let my pets out?
The golden rule is to wait for the chemical dry first, then it is completely safe to touch for anyone. This varies depending on the weather, but it’s usually about 20-30 minutes after application it will be completely dry.
I touched some wet chemical with my bare hands or feet…what do I do?
Simply wash that area of your body thoroughly with soap and water.
Is there anything other than bugs the chemical will effect?
Most of our chemicals are deadly to aquatic life. If you have a pond with fish on your property make sure to tell your technician about it and we will avoid that area so that no overspray has the chance to effect your fish. The technicians are trained to avoid ponds to begin with, but you can never be too safe.
If you spray the grass and my kids or pets play in the grass, will it harm them?
No. Again the golden rule is to wait for the chemical to dry. After that your kids and/or pets can be on the lawn worry-free.
Are the products you use all natural?
The majority of pest control chemicals we use are synthetic pyrethroids, so no. If you want all-natural pest control you’d have to find another pest control company. However our fog dust service is an all-natural product, but it can only be done in crawlspaces and attics.
