– FAQ –
Can the bait harm my children or pets?
The rodent bait is safely secured within tamper-proof bait stations that children or pets cannot gain access to, but even if a pet was able to gain access, it would take a very large amount of bait to harm your pet, much more bait than even several stations would hold.
How soon can I expect the mouse issue to resolve?
It depends on the severity of your infestation. Some problems are solved immediately, others require multiple days. Mice and rodents in general are very cautious creatures. It can take several days for them to become accustomed to the traps to the point where they are comfortable enough to investigate them and become trapped.
The mice are inside my walls! Will you have to open up my wall?
Despite what some classic cartoons may lead you to believe, it’s exceedingly rare for mice to actually be inside a wall. There are certain voids they can enter maybe, but what is much more likely is that they’re in your attic or somewhere else in the house and it simply sounds like the scratching is coming from the wall.
Are you going to come back and collect the traps when the service is concluded?
No. You purchase the traps as part of your service. They’re yours forever to do whatever you wish with. If needed we can set you up on a recurring service where we continue to come out and service the traps to continue to keep the mice away. Cabins and other mountain locations especially may need year-long, continuous service.
Do you sweep up the droppings for me?
Sorry, no. That isn’t part of the service.
Do you find out where the mice are coming in?
No, that’s called exclusion work. We don’t do that. We can offer a good amount of tips and tricks (such as using a combination of steel wool and expanding foam to fill voids that mice won’t be able to chew through!), but we don’t specialize in finding the specific route the mice are entering the home.
